Introducing Steve Radley: Our New Visiting Psychotherapist & Mental Health Counsellor
We are pleased to inform you that Steve Radley will be joining the Be Well team as a visiting psychotherapist and mental health counsellor.
Steve will visit Hua Hin twice a month on weekends, with his first visit scheduled for November 18th and 19th.
Steve pursued his studies in psychology in Canada (BA, University of Western Ontario) and the UK (MSc, University of East London). He has undergone training in art therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He is a member of both the Canadian Art Therapy Association and the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists.
Since 1996, Steve has worked as a psychotherapist and counsellor in both Canada and the UK, balancing his private practice with roles in community and school settings.
In 2019, he shifted his base to Asia, focusing primarily on the expatriate community. After a brief stint in China, he moved to Vietnam in 2020 due to COVID-related reasons, before settling in Thailand in early 2023.
Throughout his career, Steve has acquired skills in various therapeutic approaches, including art therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He’s a Member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association as well as the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists.
Steve offers either counselling or psychotherapy based on a patient's initial assessment/intake. Issues he addresses may include anxiety, depression, anger, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma, addictions, and life transition issues. Importantly, Steve provides counselling and therapeutic services for children as young as 10 years old. He particularly uses art therapy as a trusted and effective method to engage notably young individuals.

After-hours emergency services explained
We'd like to remind members that our after-hours call services, available exclusively to members, should be used strictly for medical emergencies that cannot wait until our clinics reopen. We continue to receive calls regarding non-urgent medical matters, general questions, or appointment requests during these hours.
If you call us after clinic hours, please be aware that fees apply, even if the matter can be addressed over the phone. However, if a doctor's house visit follows the phone call, only the house visit charges will be applicable. For detailed information on the fees for our after-hours emergency services, please visit our website.
For clarity: During clinic hours, members are entitled to free phone consultations (limited to 4 calls per year).
In case of an emergency, after clinic hours, please call us at 092 449 2691. If possible, have your Be Well membership number at hand when you call.

Retirement of Ann Di Mella
We are announcing that our co-founder, Ann Di Mella, has decided to retire from her roles as partner and medical professional at Be Well. She looks forward to embracing this new chapter alongside her husband, Paul.
Since the inception of our idea in 2019 to establish a Western-style family healthcare center, both Ann and Paul have been instrumental to our success. Ann's medical expertise and Paul's advisory role in the design and construction of our clinics have made them invaluable pillars of our center.
While retirement will offer them the joy of travel, Ann and Paul will remain in Hua Hin and continue to support Be Well as advisers. We are deeply grateful for their contributions and wish them a fulfilling retirement.
