Please help the students of our college
Every year the Thai Ayothaya Business Administration Technological College organises exchange programs to enhance the confidence of her students and give them a sense of equality (as it should be)
At the moment there are 8 Finnish students and 2 teachers with them for 10 days, and the plan is that they also go to Finland with 8 students and 2 teachers, at the end of March. However, of those 8 students,4 have now canceled because their family does not have the money for this exchange.
These students told us:
Student 1: "My mother lost all the money in a scam from a fake call center in Thailand."
Student 2. "My parents have just separated and my mother is currently unemployed and does not have the financial resources for the trip."
Student 3. "I no longer get permission from my parents because the money is not there yet at the moment."
Student 4. "I prefer not to give a reason (almost crying)". I did ask to let me know a little more why not, and if I could help with anything. He told me: "I asked my mother today for money to eat at school. My mom said: you can take it out of my wallet. When I opened the wallet I saw that it only contained 120 TBH, I could not take mom's last money and left it in the wallet!"

Jos Muijtjens, Teacher / International Coordinator TAB, who coordinates the exchange program wrote us:
"Lizzy, during our first trip you made it possible, with your charity campaign, that our students Pang Pond and Pim could participate in the cultural exchange program.
After we had our exchange program in Finland last year, Pang pond and Pim shared their experiences and thanks by means of a video recording to everyone who made this incredible experience possible for them"
